What’s the fun having a blog if I don’t update it regularly for all you viewers to check out my work. Yes the work is changing, and I want my viewers to see the inner-workings and images of what’s going on in the studio. Traditional Blog?…. NO not at all…. Better Blog?… I believe so. You know what go ahead and set this website to your favorites list or subscribe to it on your RSS reader. Lets have fun together, send me an e-mail talk to me, I am always happy to talk about my work.
Anyways, I have been working on the Muffin Man for over a year now, and you ask “where is the work? Its coming I promise.I know a lot of you don’t even know what’s up with the Muffin Man? Who is he? and Why? Well I can’t tell you yet, that would ruin the surprise before the first work hits the site. Lets agree one month from now, by February 20th, I will reveal the full in depth idea of the Muffin Man. Deal….. More sketches and studio shots coming soon……
I can not believe it is already 2010, I must say I was quite happy and quite upset with the year 2009. There was a lot going on, but since June of 2009, one part of me that was lacking was my art. What had happened? Where had the momentum gone? The problem was that all my time was devoted to work, academic studies not surrounding the studio, and Pixel Squared Studios. This semester I am back in studio and harder than ever. I am excited to start the true birth of the Muffin Man concept. The website and portfolio have undergone a tremendous change, I have deleted a lot of older posts, and tons of images of old work.

I believe my work is about to change significantly in style and concept. I am taking my work from modern student work, into the realm of contemporary and professional. I am excited for all that is to come, and for all that I will be able to show the world in the upcoming years. Please be patient with images, for the work in now in progress, but will be coming soon.

I hate being sick, I absolutely hate it. I cannot think of anything else I truly hate more than being sick. I used to be sick all the time as a kid. I think it was because I used to swim in the toxic sludge known better as the waters of Lake Erie. I think that is what has built my immune system into what it is today, a giant almost impenetrable wall. I get sick in total maybe once a year, and when this happens I am devastated. This painting represents the pain and frustration that is associated with being sick. It depicts a virus attacking the immune system and the pain and anger I feel when combating these nasty bugs.
This past weekend I had the privilege of working on a collaborative painting with Bill Gian. Its interesting as an artist to work along side with another artist on the same piece. You learn different techniques, application, and mostly about inspired creativity. If you get a chance check out Bills work, www.billgian.com

Thomas Jefferson, declared, “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them, will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”
